Privacy

The short version

This site doesn't use cookies, analytics scripts, ad pixels or third-party trackers. Fonts are self-hosted. We don't sell personal data. The only personal data we hold is the email address you give the newsletter, kept by our provider.

Newsletter

We use Buttondown to run the newsletter. When you subscribe, the form sends your email address straight to Buttondown, which stores it and sends a confirmation email (double opt-in). Buttondown processes subscriber data on our behalf under its privacy policy. It may record standard signup metadata such as time, IP address and referring page, and email open and click events.

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To have your data deleted, unsubscribe or email us.

Hosting logs

Our hosting/CDN provider (Cloudflare) may process standard request data (such as IP address, user agent and requested URL) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, under its own privacy terms. We don't use these logs to identify individual visitors.

API and MCP

The JSON API, feeds and MCP server are public and need no account. If you run the MCP server yourself, it only fetches public JSON from this site.

Sponsors

Sponsored placements are plain links. Sponsors don't get visitor or subscriber personal data.
